Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Methuen300.org (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

Use of the Site

Permitted Use

You may use the Site to:

• View information about Methuen's 300th Anniversary events
• Register for free events
• Purchase tickets for paid events
• Subscribe to our newsletter
• Submit community event proposals
• Contact the anniversary committee

Event Registration and Tickets

Free Events

Registration for free events is provided on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity limits. Registration confirmation does not guarantee entry if the event reaches capacity.

Paid Events

Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless an event is cancelled by the organizers. All ticket sales are subject to availability.

Ticket Transfers

Tickets are non-transferable without prior written approval from the Methuen 300 Committee. Resale of tickets is prohibited.

Event Changes or Cancellations

We reserve the right to modify event details, including date, time, location, or to cancel events if necessary. In the event of a cancellation, we will:

• Notify registered attendees via email
• Provide full refunds for paid tickets
• Make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event

Payment and Refunds

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms and conditions.

Refund Policy

• Event cancelled by organizers: Full refund
• Cancelled by attendee: No refund (unless extraordinary circumstances)
• No-show: No refund
• Weather or emergencies: Refund or event credit at organizer's discretion

Newsletter

By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails about Methuen 300 events and news. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.

Community Event Submissions

Event submissions are subject to review and approval by the Methuen 300 Committee. We reserve the right to:

• Approve, reject, or request modifications to submitted events
• Edit event descriptions for clarity or length
• Remove events that violate our guidelines

By submitting an event, you confirm that you have the authority to represent the organization and that all information provided is accurate.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of the Methuen 300th Anniversary Committee or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without express written permission.

User Content

By submitting content to the Site (event submissions, contact forms, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Methuen 300 celebration.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site
• Accuracy or completeness of information
• That events will occur as scheduled

Limitation of Liability

Event Conduct

No refund will be provided for removal due to conduct violations.

Photography and Recording

By attending events, you consent to being photographed or recorded. These images may be used for promotional purposes, including on our website, social media, and marketing materials.

Governing Law
